Delhi Govt is planning to start Yuva schools
The Delhi Government is planning to start “Yuva” schools under the aegis of a society. Known academicians will run the school.
These schools will compete with the best public schools in terms of facilities.
All these proposed schools will be equipped with modern facilities like swimming pools but would not be air-conditioned.
Modalities to open these schools have recently been discussed at a meeting held at the State Education Department.
These schools would target the upper strata of society with their high fee structure and better facilities.
Three Yuva schools at Rajpur Road , Laxmibai Nagar and Preet Vihar will be opened in Delhi in the first phase of the project. The admission process is likely to start admission from the next year.
The project is all set to take off and only needs a Cabinet approval to take shape.
