The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)  announced the Class 12 Board Examination results 2009 for Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions on Wednesday i.e. May 20, 2009.

The results of the Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad regions would however be declared on Friday i.e. May 22, 2009 at 10:00 am IST.

Class XII Exam Results 2009 – Announced on 20th May 2009
( Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions )

This year, a total of 6,37,578 students – 2,64,248 female candidates and 3,73,330 male candidates – took the Class 12 Board exams across the country and abroad.

RPVVs are especially opened to cater to the needs of bright students. The aim is to prepare them for higher academic achievements, excellence in sports, success in competitive examinations and all round development of their personality.
The Admission is opened for class VI & IX in RPVVs as per vacancy available.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION (For Class VI and IX)
All the students who have studies continuously for at least TWO years in Delhi Govt./Govt. Aided/NDMC/MCD/Delhi Cantonment Board School preceding the class to which admission is sought with at least 60% marks in aggregate in class V/VIII respectively are eligible for registration.

ENTRANCE TEST:

All eligible students will have to appear in an Entrance Test that will be administered simultaneously for all the schools and the selection of candidates will be done on merit. The Entrance Test will consist of Objective type questions to test numerical ability, mental ability, general knowledge and language comprehension.

DATE OF ENTRANCE TEST:

Thursday, 2nd April, 2009 (10.00 am. To 12.00 Noon)
SCHEDULE: The application forms can be obtained form all RPVVs listed below on all working days form Monday, 16th March, 2009 to Monday, 30th March, 2009 (Time: 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.)

CBSE is one of the eminent and widely recognized boards of school education in India. Although CBSE got its present name in 1952, its origin can be traced back to 1921 when the U.P Board of High school and Secondary Education was set up.
